Water-based systems can cause as much damage as fire in server rooms, archives, switchgear rooms, and data centers. Gas-based fire suppression systems detect fires early and discharge clean agents within seconds to extinguish flames without harming sensitive equipment. Rachna Fire & Safety designs and installs FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, aerosol, and kitchen foam suppression systems across Kutch and Gujarat.

Types of Suppression Systems

Gas flooding systems store pressurized clean agent (FM200, Novec 1230, or CO2) in compact cylinders. Upon detection, the agent floods the protected volume, absorbing heat and interrupting the chemical chain reaction of combustion—leaving no residue on electronics.

Kitchen foam systems deploy wet chemical agents through nozzles under canopies for commercial cooking fire protection. Water mist systems use ultra-fine droplets to cool and suppress fires where minimal water discharge is required.

Ideal Applications

  • Server rooms and data centers
  • Telecom and switch rooms
  • Archive and record storage
  • Battery storage rooms
  • Generator and control rooms
  • Commercial kitchens and restaurants
  • Museum and art gallery protection

System Design & Safety

Every suppression system requires precise volume calculations, agent concentration analysis, hold-time verification, and abort/manual release provisions. We design per NFPA 2001, IS 15493, and manufacturer specifications, including damper interlocks, warning signs, and pre-discharge alarms for occupant safety.

Why Rachna Fire & Safety

Our engineers have experience protecting critical infrastructure in Kutch's industrial belt—from port logistics IT rooms to manufacturing control centers. We provide complete documentation for insurance, fire NOC, and audit compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clean agents like FM200 and Novec 1230 are safe at design concentrations when egress time and pre-discharge alarms are properly configured. CO2 systems require additional safety measures and are typically used in unoccupied spaces.
