Early fire detection saves lives and limits property damage. Rachna Fire & Safety installs complete fire detection and alarm systems—from conventional setups for small buildings to fully addressable networks for hospitals, hotels, BPOs, and industrial facilities across Kutch and Gujarat. Our systems integrate smoke, heat, flame, and multi-sensor detectors with manual call points, sounders, and intelligent control panels.

Conventional vs Addressable Systems

Conventional fire alarm systems divide a building into detection zones. When a detector triggers, the panel identifies the zone but not the exact device—making them cost-effective for small offices, shops, and standalone buildings.

Addressable systems assign a unique address to every device, pinpointing the exact detector or call point that activated. They support advanced features like HVAC shutdown, lift homing, access control release, and integration with suppression systems—essential for high-rise buildings, hospitals, and industrial complexes.

System Components

  • Fire alarm control panel (conventional or addressable)
  • Smoke, heat, multi-sensor, beam, and flame detectors
  • Manual call points (MCPs) and panic switches
  • Hooters, sounders, and visual alarm devices
  • Linear heat sensing cables for cable trays and conveyors
  • Fire-rated cabling and instrumentation
  • Remote monitoring and repeater panels

Working Principle

Detectors continuously monitor for smoke particles, temperature rise, or flame signatures. Upon detection, the control panel activates local alarms, notifies building occupants, and can transmit signals to a monitoring station. Battery backup ensures 24-hour operation during power outages.

Compliance & Integration

Our designs follow IS 2189, NBC provisions, and EN standards for voice alarm integration where required. We coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and fire authorities throughout the approval and commissioning process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Buildings under 2,000 sq.m with simple layouts typically suit conventional systems. Larger or complex facilities benefit from addressable systems with device-level identification and integration capabilities.
